HYDERABAD: Congress MLA Danam Nagender has voiced strong concerns over various unresolved issues in his constituency, accusing officials of negligence and demanding immediate intervention.
He stated that no one has proper information regarding the camp office in his constituency, which is causing difficulties in addressing public complaints effectively. He was speaking in the assembly on Tuesday.
Nagender pointed out that despite showing a designated piece of land next to a substation for development, officials have not responded or taken any action. He demanded that concerned authorities act without further delay.
Raising another issue, he said that government school teachers have informed him that eggs, which are supposed to be provided as part of the mid-day meal scheme, are not reaching students. He urged the government to ensure the proper supply of food for children.
Nagender also highlighted a land dispute in an EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) colony, where a man named Venkat Reddy allegedly took land from six people and dug borewells without authorization. He expressed frustration that despite filing complaints, officials have failed to address the matter.
Expressing concern over the increasing misuse of social media, Nagender called for strict action against those spreading misinformation and urged authorities to monitor such activities closely.
