Mirchowk Police arrest man in fake certificate racket

Hyderabad: Mirchowk Police arrested a man in connection with a fake certificate racket after acting on credible information. The accused allegedly possessed forged educational certificates and sold them to people seeking overseas employment.

Police arrested Abdul Rashed Khan (38) at Etebar Chowk during the operation. Meanwhile, officers seized 15 fake educational certificates, a Vivo mobile phone and a Suzuki Burgman scooter from his possession.

Fake certificate racket linked to overseas jobs

The investigation revealed that the accused allegedly sold forged educational certificates for illegal financial gain to individuals seeking employment abroad. Further, police registered a case under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police have launched efforts to trace and arrest the remaining absconding accused connected with the case.
