HYDERABAD: A case has been registered against a youth from a village in Midjil mandal for allegedly harassing a minor girl from the same village under the pretext of love, according to Sub-Inspector Shiva Nageshwar Naidu.
Based on a complaint lodged by the girl’s father, Midjil police registered the case on Thursday. The accused had reportedly been following and harassing the girl for some time.
SI Shiva Nageshwar Naidu urged the public to promptly report such incidents to the police if any minor girls are being harassed in the name of love or for sexual reasons. He also advised young people not to ruin their lives by falling into misguided notions of love and instead to focus on their education and work towards meaningful life goals.
