Hyderabad: Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Ghanpur, received Mediciti NABH accreditation, becoming one of the few teaching hospitals in Telangana to secure the national quality certification. The recognition followed a comprehensive assessment of the hospital’s clinical practices, patient care and management systems.
Mediciti Group of Hospitals CEO Inish Merchant said the accreditation reflects the institution’s continued commitment to quality healthcare and patient safety. He described the recognition as an important milestone in maintaining high standards of medical services.
The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) evaluates hospitals against stringent quality benchmarks before granting accreditation. Therefore, hospitals must consistently meet national standards to retain the certification.
Mediciti NABH accreditation reinforces quality standards
Mediciti President Prof. K. Shivarama Krishna said the accreditation followed a rigorous review of clinical services, patient care and hospital management. He added that NABH conducts periodic reassessments, encouraging continuous improvement in healthcare quality.
Meanwhile, hospital officials said the certification would strengthen patient confidence in the institution. They also said it would help improve healthcare delivery while reinforcing patient safety standards across the hospital.
The hospital said Mediciti NABH accreditation reflects its focus on delivering reliable and quality healthcare through sustained compliance with nationally recognised standards.
