Komatireddy on National Safety Award as Telangana gains national praise

The NSCI team studied the safety steps taken at the Super Speciality Hospital project in Rangampet. They observed steady monitoring and strict safety checks at the site. Moreover, they appreciated how the staff followed clear safety rules throughout the work.

The award came after a detailed review of worker protection systems, on-site methods and daily supervision. Officials said the project moved ahead with careful planning. They also noted that Telangana’s approach stood out among similar projects in the country.

Komatireddy congratulated the teams linked with the project. He said fast progress helps, yet safety and quality must guide every stage. In addition, he said Telangana now uses simple digital tools and modern engineering systems to improve public works.

He added that the state built nearly one crore square feet of government space in the last decade. However, the current government matched that scale within two years. According to him, this rise showed smoother planning and better delivery.

With this award, the R&B department joined top agencies known for safe, steady and well-managed public projects across India.
