Hyderabad: A man went missing in Jaggi Cheruvu near Nagireddypet village after entering the lake for a bath during the Dussehra festival.
Locals identified the missing man as Pothula Siddi Ramulu, a resident of Nagireddypet village. The incident occurred during the festival celebrations and prompted a police search operation.
According to local residents, Ramulu had gone to the lake to bathe. Before entering the water, he reportedly informed women washing clothes near the lake that he would return after bathing.
However, he failed to return even after a considerable time. The women subsequently alerted his family members about his disappearance.
