Mallepally bridge inaugurated by ministers Seethakka, Vakiti Srihari

Hyderabad: Ministers Seethakka and Vakiti Srihari inaugurated a newly constructed bridge worth about ₹2 crore near Mallepally during their visit to Makthal constituency. The Mallepally bridge inauguration brought the new facility into use for people living in surrounding villages.

The bridge was expected to improve connectivity and make daily travel easier for residents in the area. In particular, the facility was expected to reduce difficulties faced by villagers during the rainy season.

After opening the bridge, the two ministers left for Makthal town to attend a public meeting. The bridge was constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹2 crore near Mallepally.

With the project becoming operational, residents of surrounding villages were expected to have easier access across the area. Moreover, the new structure was expected to improve movement during the monsoon, when villagers had faced travel difficulties.

The Mallepally bridge inauguration formed part of the ministers’ programme during their tour of Makthal Assembly constituency. Officials and local elected representatives attended the opening ceremony. Congress leaders, party workers and villagers also participated in the programme.

Congress workers hold bike rally

Before the bridge programme, Congress leaders and workers organised a motorcycle rally. Mandal president Surya Prakash Reddy led the rally from the mandal headquarters to Mallepally. Party workers gathered in the area as part of arrangements for Seethakka’s visit.

Consequently, considerable activity was witnessed around Mallepally during the ministerial programme. After completing the bridge inauguration, Seethakka and Vakiti Srihari proceeded to Makthal for the scheduled public meeting.
