KTR urges BRS leaders to expose Congress failures ahead of Jubilee Hills bypoll

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao held a key meeting with party leaders from Greater Hyderabad on Saturday. The focus was to finalise strategy for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. He directed party cadres to expose the Congress government’s failures and highlight the development achieved under the BRS regime.

The meeting, held at Telangana Bhavan, included MLAs, MLCs, corporators, and former corporators. KTR urged the leaders to work together to secure a win in Jubilee Hills. He said the bypoll would be a critical test of the party’s strength in the city.

KTR showcases BRS record, slams Congress performance

Addressing the meeting, KTR said BRS had consistently earned public trust in Hyderabad. “We must protect that trust by winning again,” he said.

He listed major infrastructure projects completed under BRS rule. These included road expansions, flyovers under SRDP, 20,000 litres of free drinking water per family, better sanitation, and reliable water supply. “Every locality saw visible development under KCR’s leadership,” he said.

However, he criticised the Congress government for the city’s civic decline. “Basic services like drainage, sanitation, and water supply have worsened. Congress is focused on politics, not governance,” he said.

Congress betrayed voters, says KTR

KTR accused Congress leaders of misleading the public with false promises. He asked BRS workers to reach every segment of society with facts. “Remind voters of how Congress neglected Hyderabad in the last 22 months,” he said.

He expressed full confidence that a BRS win in Jubilee Hills would boost momentum for the upcoming GHMC elections. “The pink flag has flown over GHMC twice. It will fly high for a third time,” he declared.
