BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao has criticized Telangana ministers for neglecting the SLBC tunnel rescue operations, accusing them of engaging in entertainment activities instead of addressing the crisis.
HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has strongly criticized Telangana ministers, alleging that they were engaged in entertainment activities instead of focusing on the crucial rescue operations at the SLBC tunnel. Addressing the media on Friday, KTR expressed disappointment over what he described as the government’s lack of seriousness in handling the crisis.
“At a time when workers are trapped in the tunnel and their families are anxiously waiting for updates, the ministers are busy with entertainment activities. This is a clear indication of the government’s insensitivity and lack of commitment,” KTR remarked.
He further accused the Congress-led government of failing to act swiftly and efficiently in the rescue efforts, leading to growing frustration among the public. According to KTR, the administration’s slow response has raised serious concerns about its priorities and ability to manage emergencies.
KTR urged the government to take full responsibility for the situation and ensure that such negligence does not occur in the future. His remarks have further intensified the ongoing political battle in Telangana, with opposition parties questioning the government’s handling of critical issues and its commitment to public welfare.
