KTR pays tribute on Ambedkar death anniversary

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao paid homage on Ambedkar death anniversary and highlighted the constitutional legacy that shaped Telangana’s formation. He noted that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s initiative in framing Article 3 enabled the creation of the state, and this, in turn, guided several policy choices during nine and a half years of BRS governance.

He said Ambedkar’s vision for upliftment of marginalised communities continued to influence administrative decisions. He added that the previous government installed a 125-foot Ambedkar statue at the heart of Hyderabad, and it also named the new Telangana Secretariat after the Constitution’s chief architect. These steps, he stated, were meant to honour Ambedkar with due respect.
