The launch took place at the department’s headquarters in Errum Manzil. Komatireddy noted it was the first time in his political career that the R&B diary was released on January 1, setting a proactive tone for the year ahead.

To mark the occasion, he joined engineers and employees in New Year celebrations. He cut a cake, shared a meal, and interacted with staff to encourage open communication and lift morale.

Appreciating the Engineers’ Association, he described the diary as technically robust and practically valuable. He reiterated that the R&B Department continues to play a critical role in Telangana’s infrastructure expansion.

Announcing new measures, Komatireddy said the government would build a fully equipped auditorium in 2026. He also committed to providing laptops for Assistant Engineers working on-site. Moreover, he confirmed that promotion orders had been processed. Any remaining concerns, he added, would soon be taken up with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

The Minister further detailed ongoing infrastructure projects worth ₹60,000 crore. These include road upgrades and key public assets such as hospitals, colleges, court complexes, and collectorates. Additionally, he noted that ₹11,399 crore in HAM projects would be reviewed and streamlined after discussions with the Chief Minister.

To promote rural development, Komatireddy said the department would build new roads alongside the proposed Regional Ring Road. He emphasized that this initiative would drive industrial growth and create jobs in non-urban areas.
