Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Saturday accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of using “street rowdy” language while speaking to private college managements about fee reimbursement. She made the remarks during a tour of Warangal, where she attended several public programmes.
Kavitha said college owners launched the strike because the government failed to release pending dues. She asked why the state cleared contractor bills but delayed funds for education. She urged the Chief Minister to focus on students instead of provoking educators.
Kavitha slams CM for flood neglect, poor health services in Warangal
In Sammayyanagar colony, Kavitha visited flood-affected families and criticised the lack of relief measures. She said the state had not released even “a single rupee” and demanded urgent help from the District Collector. According to her, official negligence not nature caused the flooding.
At MGM Hospital, Kavitha inspected the facilities and expressed concern over poor maternity care and missing infrastructure. She blamed both the former BRS administration and the current Congress government for the decline. Warangal, despite having two women ministers, lacked essential services, she noted.
Kavitha said her tour focused on public problems, not political agendas.
