Hyderabad: Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, along with AIMIM MLA Kausar Mohiuddin, reviewed heritage sites in Hyderabad and directed officials to expedite pending works and tourism projects.
They inspected Seven Tombs, Katora House and the KB Museum. During the visit, the Minister assessed ongoing works at Qutb Shahi Tombs.
He instructed officials to resume pending works within a week and complete them at the earliest. Moreover, he reviewed the proposed ropeway project connecting Qutb Shahi Tombs to Golconda Fort.

He directed officials to prepare the DPR immediately after securing required approvals. In addition, he asked departments to coordinate for developing Katora House as a tourist destination.
The Minister also instructed GHMC officials to clear waste in surrounding areas. At the same time, he suggested preparing proposals for a shopping complex near Golconda on the lines of Lad Bazaar.
Jupally Krishna Rao said authorities should develop the KB Museum into a tourist attraction and make it accessible to the public. Furthermore, he directed officials to set up a Khadi exhibition and remove encroachments in coordination with the police.
He said the government aims to promote Telangana’s historical heritage globally while strengthening the tourism sector.
