Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Sunday described the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election as a critical test for the Congress party and the state government. He urged party cadres to treat the bypoll as a prestige battle and campaign with full intensity.
In a statement issued today, Goud said the by-election must be viewed not just as a contest for a seat but as a referendum on the Congress government’s performance under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “This election is crucial for both the party and the state. We must showcase our governance and welfare achievements to every voter,” he said.
Final campaign week vital for Congress push, says Goud
With only a week left in the campaign, Goud called on all Congress leaders and workers to maximise efforts. “Every single day counts. We have to carry the government’s two years of development and welfare work into every household,” he stated.
He urged the cadre to remain fully engaged in door-to-door outreach and public meetings to secure a decisive win in the high-stakes bypoll.
