Hyderabad: A Jillelaguda school bus accident occurred on the main road after the driver reportedly lost consciousness near Lalithanagar X Road. The bus belonged to Pallavi Model School and was carrying 17 students while returning from school.
The driver had already dropped 15 students at Almasguda before the incident. Police said he reportedly lost consciousness after a sudden drop in blood pressure near Lalithanagar X Road.
The bus then went out of control and crashed into the road divider. At that time, two teachers, a school ayah, two students and the driver remained inside the vehicle.
The driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. The source did not report injuries to the teachers, ayah or two students who were on board.

The incident took place within the limits of Meerpet police station. Meanwhile, the remaining students had already been dropped off at Almasguda before the bus struck the divider.
Meerpet police registered a case following the Jillelaguda school bus accident. Officers have since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
