Despite multiple attempts to secure bail from the Nampally court, his petitions were dismissed due to the seriousness of the charges. Ravi has now filed a fresh bail plea in the High Court through his legal counsel.
The High Court, after taking up the petition, directed the police to present their version of the case. It instructed Cyber Crime officials to file a detailed counter affidavit, which they are expected to submit on Tuesday.
Ravi is currently lodged in Chanchalguda jail as an undertrial. Whether the High Court grants him bail will depend on the police response and the court’s subsequent hearing.
