Hyderabad: Mailardevpally police apprehended two juveniles in a Hyderabad two-wheeler theft case and recovered eight vehicles during the investigation. Police identified the two children in conflict with law as aged 13 and between 14 and 15 years.
According to police, the duo allegedly stole an Activa scooter from TNGOs Colony on September 20. The scooter belonged to Rahul Reddy and stood outside his house. The owner discovered the vehicle missing the following morning. Police said the juveniles also allegedly stole a speaker from a nearby Ganesh pandal.
Subsequently, Mailardevpally police registered cases under Section 305(b) of the BNS and launched an investigation.

Special teams examined CCTV footage during the Hyderabad two-wheeler theft investigation. In addition, investigators used technical evidence to identify the juveniles. Police later apprehended the two children in conflict with law. During the operation, officers recovered eight two-wheelers, police said.
Rajendranagar Zone DCP S. Srinivas and ACP A. Sudhakar supervised the operation. Meanwhile, SHO Ch. Srinivas and Detective Inspector Md. Maqsood Ali participated in the investigation. DSI B. Venugopal and Mailardevpally crime staff also took part in the operation.
