Hyderabad: A chemical bottle blast at a recycling plastic bottle manufacturing company in Katedan on Tuesday, injuring two men. One of them, a 19-year-old, is in critical condition. The incident took place at MS Traders, near Ram Charan Oil, in the Mailardevpally police station limits.
Sai Krishna and Dileep were cleaning empty bottles on Tuesday afternoon. Sai Krishna stepped on one bottle, and it burst accidentally. The bottle blast left Sai Krishna, 19, with severe injuries to his face and leg.
Sai Krishna’s condition is reported to be critical. Dileep, 55, suffered minor injuries. Both men are now receiving treatment at Osmania Hospital, where they were taken after the blast.
Police visit the spot and register a case
Chandrayangutta ACP Sudhakar and Mailardevpally CI Srinivas reached the spot after receiving information and gathered details. Police are now looking into what caused the explosion. They have registered a case and are investigating.
