HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) official spokesperson Chanagani Dayakar has lashed out at Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders, stating that only those who are incompetent and incapable of conducting the Group 1 exam in an orderly manner are now making baseless allegations.
In a sharp rebuttal on Tuesday, Dayakar took aim at former minister Padi Kaushik Reddy, alleging that he did not even have a basic understanding of the Group 1 exam, let alone the credibility of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).
He remarked that some leaders do not even know the full name of the Public Service Commission, yet continue to make unwarranted accusations. Recalling the BRS regime, he said that during their rule, exam papers were sold in bundles like commodities.
Highlighting the efforts of the current Congress government, Dayakar asserted that it has made history by conducting the Group 1 exam in the most transparent manner. He accused the BRS party of attempting to incite division among unemployed youth through deliberate misinformation.
He noted that even after TSPSC issued notices to individuals like Rakesh Reddy, BRS leaders continue to spread falsehoods, undeterred. He clarified that every exam paper was personally submitted by candidates and subsequently made available via official web notes, ensuring complete transparency.
“BRS has now been fully exposed as the address of corruption,” Dayakar declared.
Referring to recent unrest, he said the alleged protest involving 563 candidates was not organic, but rather fuelled by BRS leaders who were deliberately propagating false narratives.
He further claimed that unemployed youth were closely observing the situation and had placed their full trust in the Congress government.
“BRS sold out the unemployed youth, while the Congress government is earning their trust,” he said.
He urged BRS leaders to uphold democratic values in their discourse and refrain from making blind and baseless statements.
Dayakar also alleged that BRS had been plotting to have the Group 1 exam cancelled from the very beginning.
Since the Congress government came to power, the unemployment rate has decreased, he said, and thousands of government job vacancies would soon be filled as part of the party’s commitment to public service.
He demanded that BRS stop politicising the grievances of unemployed youth for its own gain.
