Ganesh immersion arrangements reviewed in Gachibowli, Neknampur

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation officials reviewed Ganesh immersion arrangements at designated baby ponds ahead of the upcoming idol immersions. The inspection covered Malkam Cheruvu in Gachibowli Ward and the Neknampur Baby Pond.

The Municipal Commissioner, accompanied by the Zonal Commissioner and Additional Commissioner, visited the permanent baby pond at Malkam Cheruvu on Thursday morning. The officials assessed preparations being made for Ganesh idol immersions in Serilingampally Circle.

During the visit, the Commissioner also interacted with walkers at Malkam Cheruvu. Subsequently, the team reviewed the facilities and arrangements being put in place at the location.

Ganesh immersion arrangements focus on safety, sanitation

The officials later inspected Neknampur Baby Pond along with senior officials from the Engineering and Sanitation wings. The Ganesh immersion arrangements included sanitation, safety and lighting measures. Officials also reviewed traffic management and coordination among the departments concerned.

The inspections were aimed at ensuring that necessary facilities were in place for the immersion process. Officials assessed preparations at both locations ahead of the festivities.

Following the baby pond inspections, the Commissioner reviewed ongoing civic infrastructure and maintenance works at Model Road in Chitrapuri, Manikonda. The review focused on the quality and progress of the works. In addition, officials assessed cleanliness and stressed timely completion of the ongoing civic works.
