Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated shooter Esha Singh on winning silver in the women’s 25m pistol individual event. The Hyderabad shooter secured the medal at the ongoing Asian Games in Japan.
In a statement on Monday, Revanth praised her performance and fighting spirit. He said Esha handled the pressure of five shoot-offs before narrowly missing the gold medal.

The Chief Minister said the Esha Singh Asian Games performance reflected her ability to compete under intense pressure. “Esha Singh’s fighting spirit is an inspiration to the sports world,” Revanth said.
He expressed hope that the shooter would secure more victories at international competitions. The Chief Minister also wished her success in bringing further recognition to India and Telangana.
Esha, who hails from Hyderabad, represented India in the women’s 25m pistol individual competition. Her silver medal followed a closely fought contest that extended through five shoot-offs before the final result.
