Hyderabad: DCP Secunderabad Zone Rakshitha Krishna Murthy on Monday conducted a formal inspection of Chilkalguda police station, warning staff against corrupt practices and urging strict enforcement of the law.
During the inspection, she reviewed patrol and Blue Colts vehicles, checked AD Drill Kits, assessed the working status of Tabs, Papillon devices, and examined vehicle maintenance. She also scrutinised Grave Crime Case Diaries and Rowdy Sheeter records.
FIRs must be registered swiftly: DCP
The DCP instructed Chilkalguda station officers to respond quickly to Dial 100 calls and register FIRs based on the merit of complaints. She emphasised that officers must maintain courtesy towards petitioners at all times.
She directed personnel to keep close watch on Rowdy Sheeters and habitual offenders. Strict action must follow if offenders repeat crimes after being bound over. She also stressed thorough investigations in POCSO cases, cybercrimes, and property-related offenses to ensure effective charge sheet filing and convictions.
ACP K. Shashank Reddy, SHO B. Anudeep, DI L. Madhu Babu, sub-inspectors, and station staff attended the inspection.
