Hyderabad: Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender said he would submit his resignation immediately if Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asked him to do so. He made the statement while responding to discussions around his earlier request to Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar for additional time to reply to party defection complaints. Nagender said contesting elections and fighting tough battles never posed a challenge to him, and noted that he had entered the fray eleven times so far.
He added that arguments continue in the Supreme Court on the disqualification case involving MLAs. According to him, long-term development will be possible only if Revanth Reddy remains Chief Minister for the next ten years. He said he stood ready to follow the party’s direction without hesitation.
