Hyderabad: Congress on Sunday accused BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao of repeatedly holding secret discussions with Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh while Telangana was fighting for its rightful share in the Krishna and Godavari rivers.
TPCC media committee chairman Sama Ramamohan Reddy said KTR should reveal who these secret deliberations were meant to benefit. He demanded clarity on the purpose and outcome of these talks.
Ramamohan Reddy criticised KTR for throwing counter-challenges to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and instead invited him to an open debate tomorrow at the Amaraveerula Stupam on all key issues.
He took a swipe at KTR for once dismissing Revanth Reddy’s stature but now appearing restless to be spoken of in the same breath as the Chief Minister.

Reddy accused the BRS leader of lacking the moral standing to talk about farmers’ welfare, pointing out that farmers who died by suicide over the last decade had been ignored by BRS governments.
He said KTR’s challenges were no match for him and advised the BRS leader not to compare himself to Revanth Reddy.
