Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy and other Telangana leaders, on Friday, remembered Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary.
The Chief Minister said Gandhi used non-violence as his weapon and truth as his guiding path. Therefore, he said Gandhi led the nation to freedom through moral strength.
He added that Gandhi’s life taught courage, patience, and humanity. Moreover, he said practising Gandhian values remained the true tribute.
At the same time, Revanth Reddy remembered freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He said Martyrs’ Day honoured their supreme sacrifice.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi. He said truth, non-violence, and righteousness shaped India’s freedom struggle.
Similarly, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said Gandhi led the independence movement through satyagraha and non-violence. He also recalled Gandhi’s lifelong service to the country.
Further, Minister Seethakka said Gandhi’s ideals of peace and non-violence continued to inspire generations worldwide.
Meanwhile, Minister Sridhar Babu said Martyrs’ Day reminded the nation of sacrifices behind freedom and democracy. Therefore, he said upholding justice, unity, and integrity remained the true homage.
