Hyderabad: World-renowned oncologist Nori Dattatreya paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his official residence, following his selection for the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
Congratulating Dr Nori Dattatreya, the chief minister praised his exceptional contribution to cancer treatment and medical research. He said the Padma Bhushan honour was a matter of pride for the Telugu community and expressed hope that Dr Nori’s services would reach more people in Telangana.
The chief minister felicitated Dr Nori Dattatreya with a shawl and conveyed his best wishes. Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, Director General of Police Shivadhar Reddy, and other senior officials were present.

Revanth Reddy said the state government was giving special focus to cancer prevention and treatment under the ‘Telangana Rising’ vision. He added that Dr Nori Dattatreya’s guidance as a government adviser was helping strengthen medical infrastructure across the state.
The chief minister said the government aimed to build a healthier Telangana by expanding access to quality healthcare. He noted that expert advice from specialists like Dr Nori played a key role in achieving this goal.
