Hyderabad: The Centre informed Parliament that 29.96 lakh farmers in Telangana received funds under the PM-KISAN scheme through the 21st instalment released on 19 November 2025. The payout stood at ₹599.31 crore. Farmers receive ₹6,000 every year in three equal DBT instalments linked to Aadhaar.
Minister of State for Agriculture Ramnath Thakur shared these figures in a written reply to BJP MP D. Arvind. He said Telangana farmers had received ₹14,236.18 crore since the PM-KISAN scheme began in 2019. The reply listed verification steps such as Aadhaar seeding, land record checks, IT database screening and deduplication. These measures aimed to prevent ineligible entries and duplicate accounts.

Saturation drives under the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” added more than one crore new beneficiaries across the country. Thousands of these new entries came from Telangana. The reply also referred to special campaigns held in 2024 to clear pending registrations and widen the PM-KISAN scheme’s coverage.
