Hyderabad: Census officials will hold a Census 2027 awareness walkathon in Hyderabad on May 11 to encourage public participation in the national census exercise.
Organisers will begin the programme at 6 am at the HMDA Ground near the Ambedkar Statue beside Prasads on Necklace Road.
Officials said the initiative aims to spread awareness about the upcoming census exercise among all sections of society.
Organisers expect large crowds at the awareness programme.
Volunteers will assist participants during the event.
Senior officials to join Census 2027 awareness programme
Meanwhile, senior officials from the Census department and GHMC will join the programme.
The Chief Principal Census Officer Telangana and the GHMC Commissioner will attend the event along with other senior officials.
Officials urged citizens to support the campaign by joining the walkathon.
