Bulldozer or car? Jubilee Hills by-election to decide Congress’ fate: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday said the Jubilee Hills by-election would decide the fate of the Congress party. He told supporters the contest would punish what he called the party’s arrogance, corruption and deceit.

KTR spoke at Telangana Bhavan where he attacked the state government. He said voters faced a historic choice between “the car that builds” and “the bulldozer that destroys.” The BRS leader asked Jubilee Hills voters to choose development over demolition.

He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of turning the government into a tool of greed. KTR alleged the Congress had not fulfilled its promises. He claimed the government had borrowed ₹2.3 lakh crore and was buying votes in Jubilee Hills.

KTR said the party was offering ₹10,000 per vote. He added that people felt betrayed on pensions, housing and fee reimbursements. KTR warned that a loss in Jubilee Hills would teach the Congress a lesson and restore promised welfare measures.

The BRS leader also criticised the BJP as irrelevant in Telangana. He said voting for either Congress or BJP would be like “throwing your vote into a drain.” He urged people to reject both parties if they failed to deliver.

What the Jubilee Hills by-election means for Telangana?

KTR accused the Chief Minister of misleading people on BC reservations. He said Revanth Reddy staged a public show despite knowing reservation laws required Parliament. KTR further alleged the Chief Minister had deceived former cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin over an MLC promise and had betrayed Muslims on burial-ground issues.

The BRS leader called on voters to make Jubilee Hills the starting point of Hyderabad’s revival. He asked citizens to back the option he described as the car that builds. He closed by urging a clear, decisive ballot.
