HYDERABAD: Former Minister and Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav announced that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will celebrate its silver jubilee in a festive atmosphere, marking 25 years since the party’s formation.
Speaking at a meeting of key leaders from Greater Hyderabad held at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday, Talasani outlined the party’s upcoming plans for BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations.
The meeting was attended by MLCs Surabhi Vani Devi, Shambhipur Raju, Dasoju Sravan, MLAs Kale Yadaiah, Mutha Gopal, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, and various constituency in-charges and senior party leaders.
Talasani stated that on April 27, the party’s silver jubilee day, BRS flags would be hoisted across all divisions. He also announced a massive public meeting to be held the same day in Elkathurthy, Warangal district, to commemorate the occasion, with arrangements being made for the large-scale mobilisation of party cadres to the venue.
To prepare for this major event, constituency-level meetings will commence from tomorrow, he said. Additionally, the Greater Hyderabad General Body meeting is scheduled for April 20, with BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) attending as chief guest.
Highlighting the achievements of BRS under K. Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership, Talasani said Telangana emerged as a role model for the country through ideal governance after the state’s formation. He criticised the Congress government for failing to address the needs of various sections of society.
Talasani urged party workers and supporters to attend the Warangal silver jubilee meeting in large numbers and strengthen the leadership of KCR.
