MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna vows to expose alleged BRS irregularities

Hyderabad: Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna said the Telangana Congress would place facts about alleged BRS irregularities before the public. He cited allegations involving land dealings, public funds and misuse of power during the previous government’s tenure.

Vamsi Krishna made the remarks while travelling to Siddipet with other Congress MPs and MLCs by bus. The journey was part of a collective initiative involving the party leaders.

“Following instructions from Mallu Ravi, I have set out for this initiative alongside other MPs and MLCs,” Vamsi Krishna said.

The MP said people had made immense sacrifices for the creation of Telangana. He particularly referred to the aspirations surrounding water, funds and employment. Therefore, he said governance should reflect the aspirations behind the statehood movement.

Vamsi Krishna said people had several questions about land dealings and the use of government resources during the previous decade. He also raised the issue of job creation and employment opportunities for young people.

BRS irregularities allegations focus on public resources

“The public has many questions regarding issues such as land dealings, the utilisation of government resources, and job creation during the past decade of rule,” he said. Vamsi Krishna called for accountability over the previous government’s performance, particularly on employment opportunities.

He said the facts behind allegations concerning public money, land and government resources should come before the people. The Congress would present the available facts concerning the alleged BRS irregularities to Telangana residents, he said.

“The truth behind allegations involving public money, lands, and government resources must come to light,” Vamsi Krishna said. “We will present the full facts to the people of Telangana. Our struggle for the public interest will continue,” he added.
