Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man died in a road accident on Rajiv Rahadari near Kodakandla village in Gajwel mandal, Siddipet district, on Friday, police said.
According to Kukunoorpalli Sub-Inspector Srinivas, the victim, Banala Sridhar from Giriboyinigudem in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, was on his way to attend a court hearing in Sircilla. He had started his journey from Edulabad in Ghatkesar mandal of Medchal district.
Gajwel road accident victim dies on the spot
The accident occurred when Sridhar was crossing the Rayavaram road junction near Kodakandla village. A car travelling from Siddipet towards Hyderabad collided with his two-wheeler. The impact left him with severe head and hand injuries, leading to his death on the spot.
Police said the car was driven by Abdul Suboor from Karimnagar. A case was registered based on a complaint filed by Sridhar’s family, who demanded strict action against the driver. Kukunoorpalli police have launched an investigation.
