Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu inaugurated the National Mart supermarket in Khammam and said the expansion of business and commercial activities would create more employment opportunities and support the city’s economic growth.
Speaking at the inauguration, Bhatti Vikramarka said new investments in the retail sector could strengthen local commerce and generate jobs for residents. He noted that such ventures play an important role in accelerating urban economic development.
The Deputy Chief Minister expressed confidence that the new establishment would contribute to Khammam’s growing commercial landscape and provide benefits to consumers as well as local businesses.
National Mart supermarket expected to boost local economy
Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MP Ramasahayam Raghuram Reddy, SUDA Chairman Puvvalla Durgaprasad, Warehousing Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao and DCC President Noothi Satyanarayana attended the event along with other district leaders.
The inauguration highlighted the government’s emphasis on encouraging business growth and strengthening commercial infrastructure in regional urban centres. Leaders at the event said expanding retail and trade activities could help create additional economic opportunities in Khammam.
