Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka reviewed preparations for Telangana Rising Global Summit 2.0 and directed officials to prepare a strong action plan to attract major investments.
A Cabinet sub-committee meeting was held at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan under Bhatti Vikramarka’s chairmanship. Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju and senior officials attended.
The summit will take place in December under the theme “Invest Telangana”. Bhatti asked officials to organise the event on a prestigious scale and step up efforts to attract investments from across the world.
Furthermore, he called for coordinated planning across departments. The Deputy Chief Minister also stressed timely execution of every task linked to the summit.
Telangana Rising Global Summit 2.0 preparations gather pace
Bhatti directed officials to establish a dedicated war room at Praja Bhavan. The facility will help coordinate the summit’s various activities.
Meanwhile, special committees comprising experts and key officials will oversee different areas of preparation. Each committee must complete its assigned work within a fixed timeline, he said.
Officials will also conduct a detailed review of MoUs signed during the previous summit. The government will assess the progress of those commitments as part of the preparations.
In addition, officials will organise extensive roadshows across India and overseas. These programmes will support efforts to showcase Telangana to potential investors.
The Deputy Chief Minister also directed officials to speed up invitations to prominent investors. At the same time, he called for daily reviews of the summit arrangements.
Bhatti stressed that every committee should adhere to its schedule. He also asked officials to maintain coordination so that preparations move forward without delays.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the people’s government aimed to establish Telangana as a leading destination for global investment.
Preparations for Telangana Rising Global Summit 2.0 will continue through the action plan reviewed by the Cabinet sub-committee.
