Ram Koti joins Telangana Jagruthi: Kavitha calls for mass protests
“Joining Jagruthi means celebrating Bathukamma and also raising a clenched fist in protest,” Kavitha said. She criticised the government for discontinuing the KCR Kit scheme for expectant mothers and failing to provide ₹2,500 monthly support for women as promised.
She also pointed out the government’s failure to deliver on the promise of one tola gold for poor women’s weddings and 2 lakh jobs per year. “They couldn’t give even one job,” she remarked.
On the pending BC Bill, she said, “We must fight until they fulfil the commitment.” Kavitha described Jagruthi as a flag of struggle and revolution, urging members to continue fighting the government on all issues.
Telangana Jagruthi working president L. Roop Singh Nayak, general secretary Naveen Achari, and others attended the event.
