Hyderabad: The Telangana Commission for Backward Classes will hold a meeting with heads of education departments on Wednesday as part of its comprehensive study on Backward Classes.
The Commission is collecting information from various government education departments. This exercise focuses on education-related issues concerning Backward Classes.
As part of the process, the Commission has sought detailed student-related data from the departments concerned.
Officials said the Commission asked the heads of relevant education departments to attend the meeting.
BC Commission meeting to focus on student data
The meeting will take place at 12 noon on February 4, 2026. It will be held to discuss the collection of student data.
During the meeting, the Commission will examine the scope and method of data collection. The discussions will cover information required from different education departments.
Officials said accurate data would support the ongoing study. They added that the exercise formed a key part of assessing the educational status of Backward Classes in the State.
