Bandla Ganesh hits back at Prakash Raj over remarks on Pawan Kalyan

Hyderabad: Producer Bandla Ganesh hit back at actor Prakash Raj for his remarks on Jana Sena chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s plans to expand the party in Telangana.

The controversy began after Prakash Raj posted a sarcastic message on X. He shared the post after Pawan Kalyan said Jana Sena would contest future elections in Telangana.

In response, Bandla Ganesh shared a strongly worded post targeting the actor. The post quickly gained attention on social media.

He questioned Prakash Raj’s repeated involvement in political and public issues. He also criticised the actor for commenting on Jana Sena’s political plans in Telangana.

Later, speaking to a media channel, the producer said Prakash Raj had developed a habit of interfering in every issue. He urged the actor to avoid commenting on matters across different states.

Bandla Ganesh on Prakash Raj criticism

The producer also referred to Prakash Raj’s electoral performance. He said the actor should remember the outcome of his previous election contest.

He said he had known Prakash Raj for nearly three decades. However, he maintained that he would not remain silent if remarks were made against Pawan Kalyan.

He further said Prakash Raj should understand his own standing before commenting on others.

The producer described the actor’s remarks as completely inappropriate.

Bandla Ganesh clarified that he used informal language because he believed Prakash Raj was involving himself in every issue.

At the same time, he said the intention was not to insult the actor personally.

He also stated that politics and cinema were separate matters. However, he said he would work with Prakash Raj in a film if required.

The producer added that he would continue to point out disagreements whenever necessary.
