Bandi Sanjay says Congress rejected by people

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the Congress was rejected by people, claiming recent Assembly election trends showed a clear mandate against the party.

Speaking to media in Karimnagar on Monday, he said the results across five states reflected declining public support for Congress. He asserted that the party would not return to power at the national level.

Bandi Sanjay described Congress as “fading away” from the political landscape. He blamed its stance on key issues, including the Women’s Reservation Bill, for its decline.

Bandi Sanjay said voters had “taught a fitting lesson” to parties opposing reforms. He added that people would not forgive those who obstruct development.

Congress rejected by people, BJP leaders claim growth

In a sharp attack, Bandi Sanjay targeted Rahul Gandhi, alleging that leaders within Congress did not see him as effective. He claimed the party was “plummeting to rock bottom” under his leadership.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Eatala Rajender said election results in Assam reflected effective governance by the BJP. He expressed confidence about the party’s future in Telangana.

Rajender highlighted the Union Cabinet’s approval of the Regional Ring Road project. He also referred to the upcoming visit of Narendra Modi as a boost to party momentum.

“In the South, it is the BJP’s flag that will fly high in the future,” he said. He predicted BJP victories in key Hyderabad civic bodies.

Rajender added that the party’s influence in South India would continue to grow. He claimed that people in Telangana were becoming disillusioned with the Congress government.
