Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer Avinash Mohanty assumed charge as the first Commissioner of the newly formed Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate. After taking charge, he held a review meeting with key officials at the Neradmet office.
He said the focus of the new Commissionerate would be on crime control, public safety, and strengthening policing in coordination with all departments.
Commissioner vows people-friendly, responsive policing
Mohanty stated that the department would work to bring police services closer to citizens, with special initiatives for the safety of women, children, and older citizens. He emphasised a citizen-centric approach that ensures faster response to complaints and public concerns.
He assured that all divisions under the new Commissionerate would operate in full coordination to maintain peace and order across the Malkajgiri region.
