Mega DSC notification likely next week, Andhra Cabinet to discuss key proposals

HYDERABAD: Unemployed aspirants in Andhra Pradesh may soon receive welcome news, as the state government prepares to move ahead with large-scale teacher recruitment. A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is being held today (Tuesday), during which several crucial matters are expected to be discussed and approved.

One of the key items on the agenda is the SC categorisation document received from the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, which has been sent to the state government. The Cabinet is expected to deliberate on the document during today’s session.

Following this, the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is reportedly planning to issue an ordinance within five days, and unveil implementation guidelines within three days thereafter.

Mega DSC Notification Expected Soon

Amid these developments, hopeful news is emerging for candidates awaiting teacher recruitment. According to sources, the Education Department is likely to release the Mega DSC notification next week, providing clarity on the recruitment of teaching positions across the state.

Earlier, CM Chandrababu Naidu had announced that the government would fill 16,347 teacher posts by June 2025. Additionally, Education Minister Nara Lokesh recently stated in the Assembly that the Mega DSC notification would be released shortly, confirming the government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector through timely recruitment.
