Hyderabad: A man riding an Activa died on the spot in a road accident at Aramghar Chowrasta on Monday after a speeding ready-mix concrete lorry ran over the two-wheeler. The Activa rider was unable to avoid the collision in the busy traffic conditions.
According to police, the lorry hit the Activa at the busy junction, causing the rider to fall on the road. The heavy vehicle then ran over him, leading to his instant death. The Activa rider was identified by police soon after the incident.
Local residents alerted the police immediately after the accident. Based on preliminary information, locals identified the deceased as a resident of the Hasannagar petrol pump area.
