Accident insurance cheque handed to lineman’s family in Telangana

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka handed over a ₹1 crore accident insurance cheque to the widow of an NPDCL lineman who died while on duty.

The cheque was presented to Sonkamble Swapna, wife of deceased lineman Sonkamble Pramod Kumar, at a programme held at Praja Bhavan on Wednesday.

Pramod Kumar worked as a lineman in the Basara division of the Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (NPDCL). He died in an accident on March 24, 2025, while performing his official duties.
