Hyderabad, February 7: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana unit is set to hold a key meeting on Saturday to discuss strategies for the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections. The session, scheduled at the party’s state office, will be led by Union Minister and BJP Telangana President G. Kishan Reddy.
The meeting will commence with a breakfast gathering, bringing together BJP MPs, MLAs, and key office bearers. The primary focus will be on engaging with graduates and teachers, the core electorate for the MLC elections.
The BJP has already announced its candidates for two teacher constituencies and one graduate constituency. This follows a recent election coordinators’ meeting, where party leaders emphasised the need to connect with every voter.
The BJP aims to build on its previous electoral successes, particularly as rival parties face delays in finalising their candidates.
