Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy said that development works worth ₹200 crore are underway in Jubilee Hills and urged voters to back Congress candidate Naveen Yadav with a strong mandate. He was speaking as chief guest at a meeting of minority leaders held in Aziz Bagh, Shaikpet Division.
Vivek said Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had personally directed party leaders to work with full commitment for the Congress in Jubilee Hills. “The people here have shown me immense affection. I’m happy to share that nearly 70 percent of the works I took up in the area are already complete,” he said.
Highlighting the party’s minority representation, he noted that Shaikpet alone has one Minister and three Chairmen from the Congress. He assured that the Revanth Reddy-led government is giving high priority to the minority community.

BJP and BRS have a hidden alliance, alleges Minister
Minister Vivek accused the BJP and BRS of collusion, claiming their secret understanding has blocked action on major corruption cases. “We demanded a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram Project, but nothing has moved. Despite clear grounds for arrest, the BJP-BRS bond is shielding the guilty,” he said.
He added that ED raids were carried out during elections to intimidate Congress leaders. Referring to past bypolls, he criticised BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao for failing to fulfill any promises made during the Huzurabad campaign.
Vivek dismissed opposition claims of ₹500 crore development works as “false and baseless,” and asserted that the Congress was firmly backed by all communities in Jubilee Hills. He promised to continue working for the area even after the elections.
The Minister also invoked his father Kaka’s legacy of strong ties with the Muslim community. “Even in my company, over 200 Muslim employees work with us. That bond continues,” he said.
