Vemulawada youth ends life after letter to God questioning his fate

Hyderabad: A 25-year-old postgraduate student from Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla district took his life after leaving behind a deeply emotional letter addressed to God, questioning why he had been given such a fate.

The youth, identified as Deeti Rohith, had completed his MSc and was pursuing a B.Ed, according to his family. They said he remained upset for years after being unable to fulfil his ambition of becoming a doctor.

In his suicide note, Rohith asked God whether he would have written the same destiny if Rohith were his own son, wondering whether those born into poorer families were not also God’s children. He described how he saw more pain in living than dying, leaving behind his last words in a note he believed would stand out.

Family members discovered Rohith dead in his room, triggering grief and shock in the locality. Police registered a case and took up further investigation.
