Hyderabad: Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday participated in a “Walk the Talk with Journalists” programme at the Huzurnagar Assembly constituency headquarters in the early hours of the day. He interacted with local reporters and discussed village development and public issues.
During the programme, the minister walked along with journalists through the constituency centre. Along the way, he stopped at a small tea stall and took a brief tea break with media persons. The informal interaction continued as journalists raised local issues.
While speaking to reporters, Uttam Kumar Reddy referred to the upcoming sarpanch elections. He said voters should select candidates capable of working with the government to ensure village development.

The minister said coordination between the government and village leadership played a key role in development. Therefore, he appealed to voters to elect sarpanch candidates who believed in cooperation with the administration.
He added that development initiatives delivered results only when village representatives worked in alignment with government programmes. Reiterating his message, Uttam Kumar Reddy urged voters to make informed choices in the sarpanch elections to strengthen development at the village level.
