Hyderabad: Police and officials held a coordination meeting to review preparations for the Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu 2026 celebrations in Secunderabad, with a focus on security, crowd management and inter-departmental coordination.
Secunderabad Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Rakshita Krishnamurthy chaired the meeting at Viswakarma Function Hall in the Mahankali Police Station limits. Meanwhile, Additional DCP J. Narsaiah, ACP Ch. Sridhar, Mahankali Police Station Inspector S. Ravikumar and officials from various government departments attended the meeting.
Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu preparations reviewed
Temple committee members, organisers of Palaharam Bandi, Totelu processions, welcome stages and other festival committees also participated in the meeting. Further, they discussed arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the annual celebrations.
The participants reviewed security measures, traffic management and other logistical preparations needed for the festival. Additionally, the DCP stressed that close coordination among all departments was essential for conducting the celebrations safely and peacefully.
She directed officials to complete all assigned works within the stipulated time to ensure the successful conduct of the Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu festival.
