TVVP specialist doctors selection list released by MHSRB

Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) released the selection list for TVVP specialist doctors on Wednesday.

The list covered Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist) posts under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP). The recruitment process covered 1,623 posts across 17 sections.

Earlier, the board had announced results for seven sections in two phases. Subsequently, it completed certificate verification for candidates from August 13 to 17.

A total of 292 candidates were provisionally selected for the remaining 10 departments. These departments included Ophthalmology, ENT, Pathology, Dermatology and Psychiatry.

The remaining departments were Pulmonary Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Hospital Administration, Biochemistry and Microbiology. Meanwhile, the selection remains subject to further verification and applicable conditions.

TVVP specialist doctors include 128 carried-forward posts

The board said 128 posts remained vacant because eligible candidates were unavailable in reserved categories. Therefore, these posts will be carried forward to the next recruitment notification.

In several categories, the board also reported a shortage of EWS and sports candidates. As a result, the respective roster points were converted to OC and filled according to the applicable rules.

The board has temporarily kept the results of some candidates pending certificate verification. Their selection will remain in abeyance until the verification process is completed.

MHSRB also clarified that appointments will be finalised only after candidates satisfy physical fitness and other applicable requirements. In addition, the board issued a clarification regarding candidates already working on a regular basis.

If such candidates were selected with weightage in the same specialty, their candidature will be cancelled, according to the board. The final appointments will also remain subject to the verdicts in cases pending before the courts.
