Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police will enforce traffic restrictions across the city from December 17 to December 22 due to President Droupadi Murmu’s visit.
Police will stop or divert traffic at select junctions during fixed hours because of VVIP and VIP movements. Therefore, commuters should plan their travel and cooperate with traffic personnel.
On December 17, police will regulate traffic between 2 pm and 3 pm. Affected areas include Hakimpet Air Force Station, Y Junction and Bolarum Check Post. Restrictions will also cover Kowkoor Road, Risala Bazar, Lakadawal, and Downtown.
Traffic curbs will extend to Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, and Lothukunta. Other affected points include Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, and NCC.
On December 19, police will regulate traffic at Bison Signal, RSI Circle, and Navy House. Restrictions will also apply at Kowkoor Road and Bolarum Check Post.
Traffic will slow at Risala Bazar, Lakadawala, Downtown, and Alwal Rythu Bazar. Other affected locations include Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, Lothukunta, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, NCC, Tivoli, Plaza, YMCA, Sangeet, and Alugaddabavi.
Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad on December 20
On December 20, police will enforce traffic diversions between 3 pm and 4.30 pm. Affected points include Bison Signal, RSI Circle, Navy House, and Kowkoor Road.
Traffic regulation will continue at Bolarum Check Post, Risala Bazar, Lakadawala, and Downtown. Restrictions will also apply at Alwal Rythu Bazar, Alwal T Junction, Satya Petrol Pump, and Lothukunta.
Other affected areas include Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, and NCC. Police will also regulate traffic at Tivoli Plaza, CTO, Rasoolpura, and Prakash Nagar.
Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad on December 21 and 22
On December 21, traffic will slow between 5 pm and 6 pm at Begumpet Flyover and Hyderabad Public School. Police will also regulate traffic at PNT Junction, Rasoolpura, CTO, and Tivoli.
Additional restrictions will apply at NCC, Club-in Gate, Airtel Junction, and Karkhana Junction. Traffic will further slow near RTA Trimulgherry, Trimulgherry X Road, Holy Family, Lal Bazar, MCEME, Lothukunta, Satya Petrol Pump, Alwal T Junction, AOC Centre, and Bison Signal.
On December 22, police will enforce traffic restrictions between 4 pm and 5 pm. Affected areas include Hakimpet Air Force Station, Y Junction, Bolarum Check Post, and Kowkoor Road.
Restrictions will also cover Risala Bazar, Lakadawal, Downtown, Alwal T Junction, and Satya Petrol Pump. Traffic will slow at Lothukunta, Lothukunta T Junction, Lal Bazar, Holy Family Junction, Trimulgherry X Road, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana, Airtel, and NCC.
