Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MLC B. Mahesh Kumar Goud appointed a five-member rally coordination panel on October 26. The committee will oversee arrangements for the ‘Vote Bachao–Desh Bachao’ national rally in New Delhi on November 1.
The rally is scheduled to take place at Ramlila Maidan. Accordingly, the committee will coordinate the participation of Congress leaders from Telangana and manage their logistical requirements.
Ministers and MPs join rally coordination panel
The five-member committee includes two Telangana ministers and three Members of Parliament. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar Goud and Vakiti Srihari Mudiraj were appointed to the panel. Meanwhile, MPs Dr. Mallu Ravi, P. Balaram Naik and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy were also named as members.
The rally coordination panel will oversee travel, accommodation and other necessary facilities for leaders attending the national event. In addition, the committee will coordinate arrangements for the Telangana delegation. Its responsibilities include addressing logistical requirements and ensuring that participating leaders face no inconvenience during their visit to New Delhi.
The TPCC entrusted the committee with managing these arrangements ahead of the November 1 rally.
